     Mrs. Chelsey Thompson is entering her fifth year of teaching at JCMS. She is a 2008 graduate of Miami University where she earned a Bachelor's of Music in Music Education degree and a Special Education minor. She will be starting her Master's in Educational Administration this fall.


     She is married to Branden Thompson and they have one daughter, Addelyn "Addy" Sophia who was born on April 30th 2010.


    Currently she teaches 7th & 8th Grade Choirs, Una Voce and History of Rock & Roll plus is currently the High Ability Coordinator at Jennings County Middle School. She is also the Assistant Band Director at Jennings County High School and is a professional choreographer. She currently serves as choreographer for "A Touch of Class,"  "Young Confeds" and "Batesville Singers"  Show Choirs and teaches Zumba at Curves North Vernon.


     Her performance resume includes Miami University Marching Band, MU Symphony Band, MU Jazz Band, MU Saxophone Ensemble, MU Gospel Singers, MU Choraliers, saxophonist for recording artist Assorted Flavors, lead singer of recording artist Disperse, JCHS Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Choir & "A Touch of Class," many, many musical theatre productions and 21 years of dance training.
